Skills of a Teenage Goddess: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

The first person who ever tried these muffins was a kid named Colin. He liked them. You will too.

So behold, Mercer's Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins.

Wet Ingredients:
1 can pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling
3 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup applesauce
1/2 cup water

Dry Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 of a teaspoon ground cloves
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips.

Combine wet and dry ingredients separately and then together. Then add chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Makes 2-3 dozen muffins depending upon how full you fill your muffin tin.
Remember to account for the fact that you will eat half a dozen yourself when deciding how many batches to make.

I once used these muffins to bribe people into voting me into middle school student council.
